The community centre rink is located on the north side of the building at 2231 Longridge Dr. SW each winter. This pleasure rink is always open to the public and is lit in the evening. The rink has shovels, hockey nets and a skating trainer available for use.
There is also a very popular rink in Garrison Green’s Buffalo Park. This larger rink is a hit all season long, thanks to community volunteers.
Volunteers are crucial to the success of the rink. If you’re willing to help out with occasional flooding and/or snow clearing at either rink, please contact us. No experience necessary! Training is provided.
Thanks to a sponsorship from the Earl Grey Golf Club, our rink volunteers have expanded the size of the rink and added a skating trail.
